Lifespans

Well Met Travelers,

So it has come to my attention that I have never mentioned how long that each of these races lives, and this is something that can be important in character creation.

Humans- Humans are the a race that has a respectable lifespan. Humans in Antediluvian live on average between 90-100 years.

Elves- Elves have the longest lifespan of the "Mortal" Races. Elves on average live to be well over 1,000 years, but there are legends of Seelie Elves living to be over 2,000 years.

Dwarves- Dwarves are quite long lived, but their lifespan pales in comparison to the elves. Dwarves live roughly 600-650 years.

Halflings- Halflings also have respectable lives, but they live slightly longer than humans. Halflings live to be about 125 years old.

Dracons- Despite the Dragon Blood that flows through their veins, Dracons live for extraordinarily short periods of time. Dracons live to be around 50 years old, but there are records of some of the noble families living to be about 70 years old.

Orcs- Orcs were created with the intent of being the opposite of the titans, so in contrast to the Titan's near eternal lives, orcs live for short amounts of time. The average orc lives to be about 70 years old.

Horthrushes- Horthrushes are worshipers of their kings as gods, and while this gives their kings extended lifespans, the average Horthrush lives only a short period of time. The average Horthrush lives only about 40 years.

Gnomes-Gnomes are another of the long-lived races in the world of antediluvian. The average gnome lives to be about 600 years.

Fungals-Fungals are interesting creatures because their lives don't matter to them, and it is a good thing. Fungals live very short amounts of time. While the Great Mushroom is nearly immortal, each fungal lives only about 20 years.

Thaskul-Life in the Frozen North is hard, but this does not stop the Thaskul from living respectable lives. The Thaskul usually live about 100 years.

Until Next Time,
Farewell and Safe Journeys, Travelers.
