Stats Behind the Face Walker of Ouroboros

Well Met, Travelers,

Welcome to another character build. I know, two in two weeks, that's unheard of from me. Well, next week, I should be moving back to the normal content for the blog.

Last week, I covered Thia Shattersoul and her Fire Drake Norbert. This time, I am going to discuss the stats of Agravaine Bellarad.

Agility is high because, over time, Agravaine has practiced his stealth and dexterity training. This has lead to his success as a thief and assassin.

Fortitude is high because of Agravaine's vampiric nature. He tends to resist the effects of many things that would severely hinder a normal person.

Might is high because of his superhuman strength from his vampirism.

learning is lower because Agravaine is very familiar with history from his time, but is not fully caught up on what has happened since he was buried.

Logic is fairly high because Agravaine is good at figuring out puzzles and solving problems.

Perception is high because Agravaine is used to keeping his eyes open for danger and his vampiric senses help him sense things others would miss

Will is high because he is difficult to subjugate with spell work. He has a very resilient and persistent personality, so his will is hard to break.

Deception and persuasion are both very high because Agravaine's silver tongue allows him to get away with crimes that others would not.

Presence is moderate because while he tries to maintain a low profile, being a member of the brotherhood of the whispering ring makes him noticeable.

Entropy and Influence are high to represent his supernatural powers as a vampire, such as charming people and draining vitality from blood.

Feats

Attack Specialization, Lethal Strike, and silencing strike all contribute to his assassination skills.

Breakfall, fleet of foot, evasive footwork, and Skill specialization are all means of increasing his stealth and agile movement.

Diehard represents his vampiric difficulty to kill, allowing him to push through or end the fight.

Equipment

Ring of Whispers
WL: 4

This silver Band inlaid with Draconic Motifs is the hallmark of the Brotherhood of the Whispering Ring and allows them to make contact with each other over great distances.

Properties: Persistent (Telepathy 7), Special

Special: The Telepathy only works for people wearing other Rings of Whispers

Agravaine's Hat of Many Faces
Legendary Item

This flamboyantly large feathered, wide-brimmed hat has been in the Possession of Agravaine for a number of years. Originally it was a simple hat of disguise, but over time it became imbued with other supernatural powers due to its proximity to such great heroes.

This hat has the unique property that no matter what form the wearer takes, the hat always appears on the new form with no change to its appearance.

Properties: Deception 9, Alteration 9, Movement 9, Teleport 5, Shapeshift 4, Cursed (Polymorph 4), Reliable, Unfailing, Special

Special: The cursed property of the hat occurs after the use of the shapeshift property. After shifting back to their original form, the wearer of the hat is transformed into a version of themselves of the opposite Sex for 3 hours. (I.e. a male character becomes female and a female character becomes male).

Darkbringer
WL: 10

This blade was crafted by an ancient order of evil Clerics during the age of darkness. The goal of the creation of this blade was to slice through the magical defenses of magic users to prepare them for sacrifice to the gods.

The blade of this weapon is forged of pure darkness and is designed specifically to undo spellwork.

It was found by Agravaine during the time he was fleeing from the Hunter's Covenant. This blade has served him well over his lifetime of Assassination and thievery.

Properties: Nullify 6, Life Drain 5, Weapon (Short Sword), Deadly 3, Damage (Entropy)

I think that is all for this time. If you enjoy this post, check out some of the other stuff that I've worked on.

Until Next Time,
Farewell and Safe Journeys, Travelers.
